a 28-month sentence he was
carrying out at the same time
for not paying his taxes.
He had been in protective
custody because of his celebrity
status.
According to his lawyer, Stacey
Richman, the musician wants to
get back to work as soon as
possible to start making the
£1.1m he has been ordered to
pay back in taxes.
"Many people are looking
forward to experiencing his
talent again," added Richman.
She described him as a "devoted
father" who was looking
forward to his daughter's
graduation.
'Choked up'
Ja Rule, whose real name is
Jeffrey Atkins, had a Grammy
nomination for his 2002 album
Pain is Love and has also starred
in films including The Fast and
the Furious and Scary Movie 3.
He went to prison in June 2011
and was given the earliest
release date possible, said state
correction spokeswoman Linda
Foglia.
Ja Rule had been serving time in
a New York prison for gun
possession
In the gun case, New York City
police said they had found a
loaded .40-calibre
semiautomatic gun in a rear
door of Ja Rule's $250,000
(£163,000) luxury car after it
was stopped for speeding.
He pleaded guilty to that offence
in 2010.
In March 2011 Ja Rule admitted
that he had failed to pay taxes
on more than $3m (£1.9m) he
earned between 2004 and
2006.
"I in no way attempted to
deceive the government or do
anything illegal," he told the
judge at the time.
"I was a young man who made
a lot of money. I didn't know
how to deal with these finances
and I didn't have people to

Another major breakthrough
was reported in the search for a
cure for AIDS.
After bone marrow
transplantation, two HIV-
infected men have no longer
any trace of the virus that
causes AIDS in their cells,
researchers report.
Lymphocytes are a type of white
blood cells and are a key part of
the immune
system.
U.S. investigators suspect that
the bone marrow transplant,
together with the
continuation of antiretroviral
therapy as a result of the
dramatic effects evident eight
months after transplantation.
They are
scheduled to present
preliminary findings
Thursday at the International
AIDS Conference in
Washington, DC.
HIV patients receiving
antiretroviral therapy often get
"an undetectable viral
load" meaning no virus particles
in their blood. But they still have
latent HIV in
their cells, and if
antiretroviral therapy was
stopped, it could reactivate
latent HIV.
Because they had no traces of
HIV in their white blood cells is
an indication that the
"pool" of latent HIV may have
been eliminated, the
researchers believe.
At this point, researchers are
far from saying these
patients are cured.
However,
the findings are "exciting,"
said Dr. Savita Pahwa,
director of the Center for AIDS
Research at the University of
Miami Miller
School of Medicine, who was
not involved in the study.
"Each clue that is obtained that
it is possible to eliminate
latent HIV must be
investigated," she said.
"The elimination of the reserve
HIV is the key to a cure," said
Pahwa. She stressed it would
only be possible to say that
these patients were
"functionally
cured" if the virus will not
reactivate when the patients
were off antiretroviral therapy.

This case of CHILD ABUSE
happened at IVY school, A
popular nursery and primary
school located at Isheri,
Ojudu Berger of Lagos state.
The mother of the girl Mrs
Zainab Rodemade wrote a
petition to the Deputy
Inspector General of
police .My daughter returned
back from school
at regular time and while
bathing for her at about
8pm, she cried as I was
about to wash her private
part so I was worried and
confused. The daughter later
explained that it was. Her
aunty in school that inserted
a pencil inside her private
part in the school toilet.
Miss Oruma Patience,the
teacher inserted a 2B pencil
into the child private part in
the school toilet, the
policemen on duty asked the
student to demonstrate how
she did it. Mrs Zanaib went to
her school the following day
to report the case to the
school authority,she met the
head teacher called Miss
Oruma with 3 female
teachers and they all watched
how the little girl
demonstrated the act and
manner her class teacher
used pencil to dis-virgin her.
The case was later reported
to Isheri police station then
the parent of the girl were
asked to go general hospital
for proper documentation of
the girl's health,the mother
told mrshutdownnews that she is
highly devastated and
disturbed and doctors
confirmed it that the usage
of the pencil inside her
private part has defiled her.
The teacher denied the
allegations saying "how on
earth can I use a pencil to
disvirgin a small girl,a girl I
have been teaching for close
to 2 years"

Meet Woman With World’s Longest Hair In 2013 At Length 14 Feet, Dai Yueqin (Pictures)

Popularly called Miss Dyq, the beauty queen was born in April 1964 in China. Her bizarre hair growth pattern started at the age of 14.
Her thick long black shiny hair got the attention of everybody around her. She later worked at a carpet factory in Suzhou before relocating to her hometown where she worked at a popular hotel.
 As her hair-length of 3,30 meters raised more and more attraction she
joined several long hair competitions and has won prizes till now. In
2001 she moved to the U.S. where her friend lives. In 2005 she visited
her family and friends in China and again attended some contests and
long hair shows.
According to her, it takes around one to two hours to comb her hair tresses which are 420 cm in length now (almost 14 feet!). The washing part takes around 5 to 6 hours.
